Dear Fellow Snowseekers,

The season has started to peak this year, and I can’t wait to hear all the snowseekers story’s that will be told at the next couple of meetings. There have some members that have rode local and abroad, and hopefully there a few more weeks of riding still this season.

Our spring bash is approaching soon, it is set for May 7th at St. Ferdinand’s Social hall. We will be needing help from all the membership, from the sale of tickets, to gathering items for the Charity auction, set up and break down of the hall, cooking and serving food. It’s nice to see some of the members who don’t come around much to step up and join in with work. Please get in touch With Jim Wright or Scott Wilke, at the next meeting or by calling them, they will be able to coordinate the help that is needed. Jinny Kline needs lottery tickets and items for the silent auction baskets for the bash.

We are still looking for donations candidates for both the Breast Cancer Poker Run ($750), The Charity Fund is also available for club friends, families, or people in need. These donations are capped at $200. Please contact Jinny Kline or Joanie Eastley with these requests.

I have attached a copy of the By-law changes, the committee has been working on this for a while now. Art Amsler put together and presented suggested changes from information and suggestions he received from the general membership. The Board of Directors met regarding revisions to the current dues and points system and approved the changes. The changes will be presented to the general membership for the final vote. The changes are ARTICLE 7 / SEC 1 / SEC 2a, please take a few moments and read the changes.

The club house and social room has been dealing with a leaky roof for the past few years, it was determined that a new roof is needed. We will be taking bids for a new roof, and the buildings and grounds committee would like to have the bids in by March 31, 2016 so that a contractor can be awarded the job, and we can be in the schedule for this summer. If anyone knows someone that would be interested in submitting a bid please get in touch with Dave ford or Scott Thomas. Please keep in mind that the club has determined that we want a company that will warranty the work.

The winner of the 50/50 was Jack Belsterling and he donated his winnings to Ken and Sherry Kelly.
