Dear Fellow Snowseekers,

Well, I think that the winter is finally upon us, the temperatures have fallen below freezing and we have had some accumulation of snowfall already this month. If you are lucky enough to live in the areas close to the snow belts then you should have had an opportunity to blow off the dust riding around the local fields.

The Thanksgiving dinner and work weekend was another beautiful weekend to be outdoors working on our clubhouse. There was wood cut and split, a new sign was hung up outside with a light, minor repairs to our water system, members upgraded their rooms, and everybody got a close up look at the groomer that was brought in by the Forestry for us to groom the trails this year. Not to mention the great breakfast, lunch, and dinner with outstanding deserts that were prepared by some of the best cooks in the world. A big THANKS to all who made this event such a big success.
As you all know our December 1st meeting is also our Christmas Raffle event. This seems to always be a fun meeting, with everybody going home with a nice gift. Members are asked to bring a nice gift or two to the meeting that will be raffled off after the membership meeting. All proceeds go to our Charity Fund.

Breakfast with Santa is approaching fast, December 17th, and if you haven’t sent in your R.S.V.P form please do so ASAP. It will again be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church from 9:30 to 11:30am. We always have a large turnout and need to make the necessary arrangements. Please see the attachment and return it to Loretta Hayes.

The tickets for the Spring Bash next April 29, 2017 have been printed and passed out to the members that were at the November meeting. If you have not received your tickets or if you need more please get in touch with Scott Wilke or Jim Wright. This years dues will be based off of your ticket sales, similar to the point system in the past. So get out there and sell, sell, sell.

50/50 winner was James Bing

Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving
See you at the meeting,
Norb
